Taylor Swift's country-pop cover of Wham!'s 1984 hit written by George Michael, the opening track of her 2007 EP The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection. It was the most-added Christmas song at US country radio in its first week and peaked at number 28 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs.
Performance tips
- Keep it light and conversational; the melody sits comfortably for most voices.
- Add a little country lilt instead of copying the synth-pop original.
- The crowd knows every word, so let them carry the chorus.
