Glam rock Christmas single written by Noddy Holder and Jim Lea and released by Slade in December 1973, when it became the UK Christmas number one. It re-enters the UK charts nearly every holiday season.
Performance tips
- Belt it like Noddy Holder: big, raspy and loud from the first line.
- Stomp along with the glam beat and get the crowd clapping on the backbeat.
- The final shout-out is the moment, so give it everything and let the room scream it with you.
