Willie Nelson's own recording of the Christmas song he wrote, which Roy Orbison first took to the charts in 1963. Nelson had cut it in 1964 and re-recorded it as the title track of his 1979 Christmas album Pretty Paper, produced with Booker T. Jones.
Performance tips

- Keep the voice soft and a little weathered.
