The Harry Simeone Chorale's 1958 recording of Katherine Kennicott Davis's 1941 Carol of the Drum, retitled The Little Drummer Boy, released on 20th Century Fox Records and included on Sing We Now of Christmas. It made the Billboard Hot 100 top 40 every year from 1958 to 1962; the Trapp Family Singers had first recorded the song in 1951.
