Shure SM58 vocal microphone
For hosts and serious singers
The standard stage microphone. It is what most karaoke hosts and live singers use, it is very hard to break, and it handles loud rooms well. It needs an XLR cable and a speaker or mixer with a mic input.
JBL PartyBox Encore Essential 2 with wireless microphone
For singing at home
A portable party speaker bundled with a wireless microphone, so it works out of the box. Connect a phone or tablet running a karaoke app and you are set up for a house party.
